I read many many comics... here are a bunch of them!!! i reccomend them all... wip there will be more. if you wrote one of these and i explained it poorly let me know.
If the fans panel on the misc page didn't tell you, i'm a big fan of t. campbell's work, just, in general. I'm less familiar with Flo's but goddamn... guilded age is absolutely everything to me. from the characters to the plot to everything else it drives me up the wall. i need guilded age the way i need air to breathe. i don't know how i lived before it. I realize i say comics are my favourite all the time but this one is. amazing. Byron is the best character.. well not Best the character. it's easy to misread.
a sci-fi masterpiece just finishing off a decade-or-so-long-run! highly suggest checking it out now. It's a beautiful space opera with aliens, relationship drama, everything a comics nerd could possibly want. it's great!
it claims to be a college webcomic but it is so much more. very very good but don't read this one unless you have a we ek to spare and plan on spending it by reading everything dave willis has ever written. his college webcomics are traps!! and also perfectly normal!
have you ever wondered what would happen if the phantom of the opera was also frankenstein's monster? would you like to read a comic about that? a comic that is also beautiful and amazing and so so so good??
A very very very beautiful, adorable, very often depressing comic about some kids whose body parts turn into monsters. it's amazing. a masterpiece. you should read it. also, check out the golden boar, by the same author! it's for more mature readers then Monster Pulse, but it's damn good, go for it!
Have you ever wondered what would happen if notorious bad movie space mutiny was a really good and expertly drawn webcomic as told from the "villains'" point of view? It's amazing. TBTS is hands down one of the best things ive ever read. i'm a little obsessed with it. prior knowledge of space mutiny is not mandatory but watching the MST3K episode is reccomended.
urban fantasy, gorgeous art, fun characters, and EXTREMELY FUN fantasy worldbuilding. every time I see that it's updated it puts a big smile or look of intrigue or something, it's great.
I cannot reccomend cargo enough. it's got it all! kickass old women, shady corporations, cats, it's got it all... an all time fave! no I am not rewriting this because chloe featured my last review on the kickstarter page and i got afraid. haha
Since i'm assuming we go in the same interent circles, you probably already know who Solobodor is, and if not, YOU ARE MISSING OUT! this comic is BEAUTIFUL it has AMAZING CHARACTERS and it's. it's just so good. it's also based off a music, which, yknow. music snob.
i have decided to link this one to the author's comicfury page because frankly everything theyve ever written is amazing. I'd reccomend starting with the poor souls since that's what i did but reading star conductor first i think is the best if you're going for chronological reading? A bunch of fun sci fi stuff that makes you FEEL THINGS!!!!and the characters are all based off music too. so of course i, music snob Lennard "thatlenguy" B. enjoy it.
Shaderunners is one of the best comics i've ever read. It seems like i say that a lot but i promise it's true alright. It's about a world where instead of alcohol the prohibition banned colour... it's amazing and I love it. the art is also gorgeous, the characters? amazing. it rocks.
This comic is amazing. it's about a shitty rock band in toronto but that's about all it shares with any other comic. I'm in love with how the characters are written. They all feel very very realistic despite the fact a lot of them are foods. it's very fun. it's a wild ride. what more can i say?
You know sluggy freelance, right? right? it's a classic! a classic, I tell you! a perfect balance of drama comedy and sci-fi bullshit. so fun, so very fun, nifty, even.
